COSTUME FOR THEATRE AND SCREEN
Here you can see my clothes based on stage and film and informal performances.
Project 1
Marie Antoinette in Wonder Planet
In this project, I deconstructed Marie Antoinette's traditional French clothing, used cosmetics to create a planet, and created a dreamland for Marie Antoinette to explore.
In this project. The right or wrong of historical figures is not the point, the fate of the characters and their unique style are eternal.

Project 2
The Birdcage
This costume is inspired by the movie The Birdcage 1995. I kept the plot of the story, changed the cultural background and localized it to Shanghai, China. I did a complete localization, from culture to clothing style.
Chinese drag queens wear sequined Qipao accompanied by Dancing to retro music.

Project 3
Personification of Fame
Inspired by a painting in the National gallery. The impact of fame on people is different, just like a painter adds his own understanding when depicting people. Even if the painting is exactly the same, is the truth the same as what you see?
This work uses the concept of paint to paint on clothing and cloth, and joins the performance of actor Feifei Da. It interprets the story of a public figure who is watched but hurt but also draws strength from fame at the same time.

Project 4
Gabrielle
For this project, I worked with a postgraduate team at University of Goldsmiths
As the head of wardrobe and costume designer, I participated in the design and production of costumes, bringing a wonderful visual experience to the audience.

In this project, I designed and made dance skirts for the heroine and her sister, and purchased and modified other actresses' clothing, shoes and accessories.
